KANSAS CITY - The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) recognized the Drake men's and women's soccer programs for their academic success during the 2014-15 academic year, the association announced Wednesday, Sept. 23.
The Drake men's soccer program earned its 11th–straight NSCAA College Team Academic Award with a team grade point average of 3.577, which ranked second among all of the Division I men's soccer programs.
For the 13th-consecutive season, the NSCAA honored the Drake women's soccer program for its academic success as the Bulldogs finished with a GPA of 3.468.
Drake is one of 208 schools across all divisions to have both men's and women's soccer programs recognized by the NSCAA.
