DES MOINES, IOWA -- Season tickets for the upcoming 2009 Drake football campaign are now on sale at the Drake Athletic Ticket Office.

Season tickets are $60 for the six-game home schedule which is a $12 savings on individual game tickets that sell for $12 for adults.

Drake faculty and staff as well as young alumni season tickets are $30, while a youth season ticket  is $25.  Young alumni season
tickets are offered to Drake graduates who have received an undergraduate degree in 2004 or later.

The Bulldogs will open their 115th season of intercollegiate football entertaining Grand View Sept. 5, marking the first-meeting ever
between the schools.

Drake will host Valparaiso in its Pioneer Football League home opener Oct. 3.

Drake also will play Missouri S & T in a nonconference home game Oct. 10.

The Bulldogs have an Oct. 31 home contest with defending league champion Jacksonville along with league home games against Campbell
Nov. 7 and Dayton Nov. 14.
