• Had a 48-yard punt return along with four solo tackles in loss at Dayton.
  
• Took the opening kickoff 88-yards for a touchdown along with a sack in eight tackles (2 solo) in win at Valparaiso.

2011 — Started in all 11 games helping anchor the defense...given team Hammer Award for special teams at annual Channing Smith Banquet.

• Posted an interception and six solo tackles in win versus Dayton..
• Blocked punt that was recovered by Drake along with seven tackles in win at Marist.
• Had five tackles in loss at San Diego.
• Recorded a career-high twelve tackles with 10 solo in win at Morehead State.
• Garnered seven tackles and a forced fumble in win versus Campbell.
• Contributed seven tackles in win at Butler and seven tackles (six solo) with two pass breakups in win versus Missouri S&T.
• Collected five tackles in win versus Grand View.
• Recorded four solo tackles at North Dakota.

2010 — Played in five games and started four, and posted 29 tackles (21 solo) and a team-leading three interceptions.

• Had two interceptions and eight tackles in season-ending win versus Butler (11/13).
• Made five tackles at Dayton (11/6).
• Recorded an interception and eight tackles in win versus San Diego (10/30).
• Had seven tackles (6 solo) in first collegiate start in loss to Lehigh (9/4).

2009 — Redshirted.

Prep — Led St. Thomas Academy (Edina, Minn.) to section championship and state football quarterfinals...named all-conference and all-state honorable mention as senior captain...also named all-conference in basketball.

Personal — Finance and accounting major...named to 2009, '10 and '11 Pioneer Football League Fall Academic Honor Roll...son of John and Mary Ratelle...mother is a Drake graduate...born in February, 1991.
