Drake Bulldogs home football games in 2011 will feature the return of the popular pregame tailgate activities in the lots immediately west of Drake Stadium.

All fans are invited to participate in the pregame tailgate, which opens at 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, before the 6 p.m. Drake versus Grand View home opener.

This week's features at the tailgate include the Wellmark 3-Point Play Experience, a U.S. Army rock-climbing wall and a Kids' Zone featuring inflatables. Kids can continue to enjoy the fun during the game in the area beyond the north end zone, adjacent to the field, with additional activities.

Parking on-site is limited. To access the tailgate lot, enter from Clark Street, between 28th and 29th Streets. Charcoal grills and glass containers are prohibited.
