WICHITA, Kan. - Drake junior Briana Isom-Brummer (St. Louis, Mo.) snared a third-place showing in the
heptathlon at the 2012 State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Outdoor Track and

After finishing the heptathlon, Isom-Brummer came back to compete in the high jump where she tied for fifth soaring 5 feet 5 inches.
"Bri had a full two days," commented head coach Natasha Brown. "She had four events yesterday, and three today to wrap up competition in the heptathlon where she finished in third. Four hours later, she was back at it warming up for the high jump where she finished for fifth. Less than a hour later she was back in the blocks for the 400-meter hurdles, where she barely missed qualifying for the finals."

day's best performance in the preliminary round of the 100-meter hurdles
clocking in at 13.60, a personal best.

spot tomorrow's final of the 400 in 56.01.
