2005-06 — Spent 2006 summer playing on Athletes In Action team which toured France...transfer who made impact, averaging 10.2 points along with team-high 5.3 rebounds...ranked tenth in MVC in offensive rebounds with 2.10 avg...named MVC Newcomer of Week Nov. 28 after being named to Las Vegas Holiday Invitational All-Tournament team where he averaged 13.0 points and 7.0 rebounds, while shooting 57.7 percent from the floor...appeared in all 31 games, starting in 28...scored in double figures in team-high 20 games, leading team in scoring vs. Shawnee State (16), Iowa State (20), Wichita State (16) and Bradley (12)...led team in rebounding in 13 games, including career-high nine boards in home games vs. Iowa State and Northern Iowa...had 16 points, making lone three-point basket of season, in home finale vs. MVC champion Wichita State...was selected to Drake Regency Challenge All-Tournament team after averaging 15.5 points and 7.0 rebounds...scored first basket ever in downtown Des Moines Wells Fargo Arena vs. Detroit on a dunk.

Before Drake — Earned first team All-Region VI and first team All-Jayhawk West Conference honors at Butler Community College in 2004-05...had 2004-05 Jayhawk Conference single-game highs of 36 points and 13 rebounds against Hutchinson Community College...enjoyed four 20-plus scoring games and grabbed at least eight rebounds in 14 games...also led the Jayhawk Conference in offensive rebounds (117)...started all 31 games as a sophomore at Butler, averaging 15.1 points and 7.2 rebounds, while leading his team to a 17-14 record and an appearance in the quarterfinals of the Jayhawk Conference tournament...graduated from Butler Community College with honors.

High School — Attended River Rouge High School in Detroit, Mich., earning Michigan Class B all-state honors as a senior in 2002-03 when he averaged 16.4 points, 14.3 rebounds and 2.2 blocked shots...also named to the Detroit News All-Metro West team as well as the All-Downriver Dream Team and first team All-MEGA RED Conference...played AAU basketball for Team Detroit which was founded by Rodney Heard who is currently director of scouting for the Atlanta Hawks.
