Jada Wills earned her second-straight Defensive Player of the Week award after another impressive weekend in the Bulldogs' second outing of the season.
The senior played all 10 sets at the Cougar Challenge in Pullman, Wash. with her most prolific performance coming against the host of the event, No. 17 Washington State. Wills recorded three assists and a weekend-best 28 digs versus the Cougars. That added to her total of 66 digs for a 6.60 digs per set average.
The Dubuque, Iowa native now leads the MVC in total digs by a wide margin. She has recorded 142 digs (2nd nationally) and is averaging a NCAA-best 6.17 digs per set over the first two weekends of the season.
