DES MOINES, Iowa – Drake University football student-athlete Taylor Coleman was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District Team for his effort in the classroom and on the field.

Despite missing three games this year due to injury the Hawthorn Woods, Ill. native, ranks second on the team with 38 total tackles and recorded a season-high nine stops at Campbell. He has also recorded two sacks to help the Bulldogs rank 14th in the country with an average 2.78 sacks per game. In the classroom, Coleman owns a 3.77 GPA as a finance major.
