Iowa vs. Drake 12-7-13

First Half
-Nine different Hawkeyes scored in the first half.
-Iowa scored 10-straight points to close the half to go into halftime with a 49-40 advantage.
-The Hawkeyes held the Bulldogs scoreless for the final 3:17 of the first half.
-Iowa was just 1-of-8 from beyond the arc, which tied its season-low (Nebraska-Omaha, Nov. 10).

Second Half
-The Hawkeyes answered the Bulldogs scoring run in the second half to build their lead back to 67-53 with 10 minutes left.
-Iowa has scored 82+ points in all but one game.


First Half
-Junior Chris Caird scored 14 points in the opening half, just two away from his career-best. He knocked down a career-high four three-pointers.
-The Bulldogs were held scoreless for the final 3:17 of the opening half.
-Drake's 40 points at halftime are the second most given up by Iowa this year.
-The Bulldogs' eight three-pointers are a new season-high for a half.


Second Half
-Gary Ricks ended a nearly five-minute long scoreless drought with his three-pointer at the 18:30 mark in the second half.
-Drake ripped off a 7-0 scoring run to trim Iowa's lead to 62-53 at the under-12 minute timeout.
-Caird finished with a career-high 21 points, including a career-best five three-pointers.
