TULSA, OKLA. - Freshman James
McKie (Edinburgh, Scotland) run at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association
(ITA) Central Regional came to an end on Sunday (Oct. 25) as he dropped a 3-6,
7-6 (4), 8-10 decision to Reinoud Hall of Iowa in the quarterfinals of the
consolation draw.
The loss wrapped up Drake's fall
campaign as the Bulldogs return to the court next hosting the State Farm
Missouri Valley Conference Individuals (Jan. 22-24, 2010) at the Roger Knapp
Tennis Center.
"James had a fantastic fall
campaign and was extremely coachable," Bulldog head coach Jimmy Borendame commented.
"I look forward to him being a great player for us this spring."
