Solid and versatile senior guard playing his second season for the Bulldogs after transferring from Iowa Central Community College. The former first-team National Junior College Division II All-American (2009-10) competes for playing time at either guard position. Alexander was selected to the 2011-12 MVC All-Bench team for his contributions off of the bench for the Bulldogs.

2011-2012 (Senior) -- Played in every game since the opener and averaging 18 minutes of playing time. He was selected to the 2011-12 MVC All-Bench team.

  • Had a then season-best 21 points, including three three-pointers against Northern Iowa (1/22).
  • Played season-high 29 minutes and had a career-high four assists, along with 10 points, in win over Iowa State (11/15).
  

2010-11 (Junior) -- Played in all 31 games, including six starts, averaging 5.6 points, 1.7 assists and 1.4 rebounds per contest.

  • Ranked second on the team in assists (1.7).
  • Posted seven double-figure scoring efforts, including netting a career-best 15 points at Bradley (2/26).
  • Distributed a career-high eight assists in a win over Chicago State (12/23).
  • Recorded six games with four or more assists.
  • Led the squad in assists a team-high nine times, while pacing the team in scoring on three occasions.
  • Six starts came in consecutive games, beginning with Chicago State matchup (12/23) and ending with Indiana State game (1/9).
  • In those six starts averaged 9.0 points, 3.0 assists and 1.0 rebounds.

2008-10 (Iowa Central CC) — Led Iowa Central to 23-10 overall record en route to No. 12 ranking in final NJCAA II Top-15 poll...competed in the NJCAA Men's Basketball Coaches Association Division II All-Star Game in Las Vegas, Nev...was a two-time All-Iowa Region 11 first team performer...averaged a league-high 18.6 points, 3.9 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.5 steals last year, while shooting 52 percent from the floor...had breakout sophomore year, highlighted by a career-high 43 points, making 16 of 22 shots, against then No. 9 ranked Kirkwood...connected on 16 of 22 shots from the field and 8-for-8 at the free throw line en route to a career-high point production.

High School — Averaged 26.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 1.4 steals as senior at Pine Ridge Secondary School in 2007-08 in Toronto, leading the team to its first 30-win season in school history while advancing to the Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations 4A championship...played in 2008 adidas All-Canadian Game.
