  • Earned honorable mention as a top performer at his position from the College Football Performance Awards for his two interceptions and four solo tackles in win versus Jacksonville.
  • Sealed win at Marist with his late game interception along with two pass breakups and three tackles.
  • Recorded an interception in loss at San Diego.
  • Collected four tackles including one for loss in win at Morehead State.

2010 — Started all 11 games and led PFL for second consecutive season and ranked seventh in the nation in punt return average (13.5; 15-206)...ranked third on the team in tackles with 60 (43 solo) and added one interception and a team-best 11 passes defended to rank third in the PFL...also returned five kickoffs for 77 yards (15.4)...named honorable mention All-PFL both on defense and on special teams...first-team Academic All-PFL.

  • Returned an interception 40 yards for a touchdown and added six tackles in win versus Davidson (10/23).

2009 — Played in 10 games and started seven...led PFL in punt returns with 10.6 average (20-212) and led team with two interceptions...posted 29 tackles  (24 solo), three pass breakups and one blocked kick...returned five kickoffs for 118 yards (23.6)...caught one pass for 8 yards.

  • Had career-high nine tackles in opener vs. Grand View.
  • Made eight tackles each vs. Davidson and South Dakota.
  • Had seven stops vs. both Marist and Campbell.
  • Returned five kickoffs for 118 yards (23.6 avg.) and scooped up opponent field goal attempt blocked by teammate Ben Morrison to score touchdown in win at Davidson.
  • Had 117 all-purpose yards against Campbell, including 109 yards on five punt returns.
  • Intercepted passes vs. Valparaiso and in the finale at Butler.

2008 — Played in all 11 games and started 6...rushed for 239 yards on 64 carries (3.5 avg.) with three touchdowns...also caught seven passes for 35 yards...returned one punt for 14 yards and two kickoffs for 19 yards (9.5)...earned second-team Academic All-Pioneer Football League honors.

  • Gained season-high 65 yards on 16 carries vs. Upper Iowa.
  • Had 9-yard touchdown run vs. William Penn.
  • Threw 5-yard touchdown pass to Steve Platek vs. San Diego.
  • Caught three passes vs. Morehead State and scored on a seven-yard run.

2007 — Redshirted.

Prep — Earned second-team Iowa Class 3A all-state honors after rushing for 1,324 yards, including 20 touchdowns, as senior at Chariton High School in 2006...had 15 career interceptions...also four-year letterwinner in baseball and basketball.
