Crall and Marshall Garner All-MVC Scholar-Athlete Honors
ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Drake juniors Garrett Crall (Norwalk, Iowa/Norwalk) and Nick Marshall (Glen Carbon, Ill./Edwardsville) garnered All-Missouri Valley Conference Men's Soccer Scholar-Athlete accolades when the league announced its annual plaudits on Monday (Nov. 19).
Achieving first-team laurels for the second consecutive year was Marshall, while Crall garnered first-team recognition for the initial time after pulling in honorable mention honors as a sophomore.
Marshall, who boasts a perfect 4.00 GPA majoring in computer science and chemistry, started all 21 games for the Bulldogs recording a pair of goals on 16 shots from his defender's position. Marshall was selected to the Capital One Academic All-America All-District first team.
Appearing in 14 games, including nine starts this season, Crall, who owns a 3.77 GPA in accounting, recorded a goal on eight shots from his defender's slot.
