DES MOINES, Iowa – The Drake University football team wraps up its spring practices on Saturday, April 20 with the annual Blue & White game. Kickoff for the intra-squad exhibition is scheduled for 1 p.m. and is open to the public with no admission charge.

The bulk of the team’s current freshmen redshirted in 2012 to gain valuable experience in the program.

The team will be charged with replacing a tremendous amount veteran talent including the school’s all-time leading passer in Mike Piatkowski and the 2012 PFL Defensive Player of the Year in Tyler Moorehead. Saturday’s game will present fans with their first opportunity to witness which Bulldogs are prepared to fill those shoes and aid the program in not only defending its league title, but also in competing for the PFL’s first-ever automatic berth to the FCS playoffs.

Saturday’s game will feature two complete offensive and defensive rosters on each team competing in a traditional game. Team captains will select both the Blue and White rosters and complete rosters for the Blue & White game are in the attached program.
