With only four available players in the team competition due to injury, the Bulldogs struggled to hone their games over the course of Monday's 18 holes carding a 340 total, to place Drake in fourth place with a 668 score.
"Everyone got off to a slow start today before we slowly got it together over the back nine," Drake head coach Leanne Smith commented. "We are continuing to work on our short games and a lot of that is mental and I'm looking forward to finishing the tournament out strong tomorrow."
Senior Chelsey Falk (Glenwood, Minn.) is headlining the Bulldogs' efforts through 36 holes after a second-round 84 concluded her round with a 163 (79-84) total, good for a sixth-place tie.
After posting an 84, sophomore Danielle Brooks (Red Wing, Minn.) is one shot behind Falk's pace with a 164 (81-83) score, sitting in a tie for 10th.
Jennings is tied for 12th with a 165 (84-81) total, while freshman Katie Clausen (Hinton, Iowa) recorded a 92 to conclude her round in 29th place with a two-round score of 176 (84-92).
