Designed for the individual who would like to begin an exercise program or evaluate their current program. The test will include an initial assessment of cardiovascular endurance, body fat, muscular strength/endurance and flexibility.

Nutritional Analysis
With the use of a nutrition software, we can conduct a complete nutrient analysis of the foods you eat and the problem areas in your diet.

Muscle Mix: Sculpt muscle groups using a variety of equipment such as dumbbells, stability balls, and body bars.
Awesome Abs: Feel the burn in this 15-minute class targeted to strengthen your abdominal muscles.
Bootcamp: Choreography not your thing? This class kicks you into shape with high intensity drills and stations.
Power Yoga: Active and flowing yoga that incorporates light hand weights for additional toning.
Yoga: A total mind-body workout that integrates functional strength, flexibility, muscle balance and relaxation.
Pilates: Increase flexibility and strengthen your core (abdomen, lower back and glutes) in this no impact class.
Core Conditioning: Feel your core burn using BOSU Ballast Balls, BOSU Balance Board, medicine balls and more!
Step & Sculpt: Get a great workout on the step followed by muscle toning.
Step Interval Plus: Get a great cardio workout on the step using the slanted riser.
CardioKick: Work up a sweat by kicking, blocking, and punching your way through class.
Belly Dance: Learn the art of belly dance while getting a great total body workout.
H20 Aerobics: Improve cardio endurance and tone your muscles in this no-impact water class.

Where is class located? Fitness classes are held in the Bell Center Multi-Purpose Room. Water classes are in the Bell Center pool.
How much does it cost to participate? All group fitness classes are FREE!
I've never taken group exercise before. Will I be able to participate? Definitely! Anyone is welcome to attend class as each class can be modified to your level of experience.
I am not a swimmer; should I take the water classes? Swimming for fitness is swimming based, so I would start with H20 Aerobics. Let the instructor know if you are uncomfortable in the water.

WELLNESS LIBRARY Drake Wellness has a variety of wellness-related books, relaxing audiotapes and exercise videos available for you to check out for two weeks at a time. Stop by the Wellness Center to borrow a book from the library. The Wellness Center will also deliver!
10,000 STEPS PUNCH CARD Already taking 10,000 steps daily? This program is for you! For each day that you take at least 10,000 steps, you will check off one star on a 14 week punch card. When the card is complete, return it to the Wellness Center. For more information and a punch card contact the Wellness Center. Fee: FREE
