ST. LOUIS – Junior guard Kyndal Clark (Webb City, Mo.) has been selected the Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Week, the league office announced today.

Clark set a Drake women’s basketball record with 10 three-pointers and scored a career-high 36 points against Loyola. She played all 40 minutes for the first-time in her career and finished with eight rebounds, six steals and two assists. She followed that performance with 17 points on 6-of-11 shooting, including 5-of-9 from the three-point line as the Bulldogs drilled a school record 17 three-pointers in a 97-77 win over Bradley.

She is averaging a team-leading 16.8 points per game, which ranks third in The Valley. She was previously named MVC Player of the Week on Dec. 23. Earlier this season, Clark became the 24th player in Drake history to score 1,000 or more career points.

Drake travels to in-state rival UNI Sunday in its lone contest this week. Tipoff is scheduled for 2:05 p.m. at the McLeod Center.
