MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - Drake men's tennis seniors Anis Ghorbel (Sfax, Tunisia) and James McKie (Edinburgh, Scotland) were thwarted in their bid to capture the doubles crown at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Central Regional on Monday (Oct. 22) suffering an 8-4 setback in the championship match.

After falling behind 4-0 versus Guillermo Alcorta and Axel Alverez of Oklahoma, Ghorbel and McKie battled back to cut the deficit to 6-4.  The Sooners responded by closing the match with two unanswered tallies to earn the victory.

Drake closes out its fall campaign returning to Minneapolis, Minn., for the Minnesota Golden Gopher Invitational (Nov. 2-4).
