Ron Buel Field

Ron Buel field is the home of the Drake softball program. The field was renovated in 2005 with the addition of Musco lights and a new press box.

The new press box includes a new sound system, phone lines and internet access. The fence behind the backstop was replaced by a netting system and a low brick wall. The outfield got treated with a state of the art drainage system to help keep the field playable.

Buel Field includes recessed dugouts, a new scoreboard and permanent seating for fans making it one of the premier softball facilities in the region and Missouri Valley Conference.
