DES MOINES, IOWA ? Drake defensive coordinator Neal Neathery will give a 50-minute presentation on linebackers at 7 p.m. this Sunday  (Jan. 11) during the annual American Football Coaches Association National Convention at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel Convention Center in Nashville, Tenn.

“This is a huge honor to speak at the convention,” said Drake head football coach Chris Creighton. “Neal was asked to speak as a result of being named the National Assistant Coach of the Year in NCAA Division III for the 2007 season.

Neathery is one of 13 coaches scheduled to speak on various aspects of football during the “Buzz Session”.
