DES MOINES, IOWA -- The Drake men's basketball team will make its fifth appearance on national television this season when the Bulldogs visit Southern Illinois Sunday with the game set for a 6:05 p.m. tip-off on ESPNU.

The Bulldogs have eight national television appearances this season - the most by any school in the state of Iowa.

In addition to the Sunday evening game at Southern Illinois, Drake will play two more Sunday night contests on ESPNU with both games at home ? Jan. 11 against Wichita State and Feb. 15 vs. Illinois State ? with each contest slated for a 6:05 p.m.

Drake also will host Northern Iowa on Jan. 17 with the game being televised on ESPN2 at 11:05 a.m.

So far, the Bulldogs own a 3-1 record on nationally televised games this season with victories against New Mexico (68-62) on CBS College Sports, Iowa State (66-63) on ESPNU and Iowa (60-43) on ESPNU. Drake fell to Vanderbilt (72-57) at the Cancun Challenge with the game televised by CBS College Sports.
