ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Drake junior women's golfer Hadley Jennings (Trenton, Mo.) garnered first-team Missouri Valley Conference Scholar-Athlete accolades, the league has announced.

A native of Trenton, Mo., Jennings owns a 3.79 grade-point average in elementary education.  She registered a team-low 78.9 scoring average across 30 rounds this season, including turning in a team-best 17 rounds in the 70's. Jennings owns the eighth-best scoring average in the MVC and garnered a trio of top-10 finishes this year.

To be eligible for nominations to the MVC Scholar-Athlete teams, nominees must own a cumulative GPA of 3.20 based on a 4.0 scale and be a starter or important reserve and have played in at least 75 percent of its team's matches. Student-athletes also must have reached sophomore athletic and academic standing at their institution and have completed at least one full academic year at their respective institution.
