Yeager qualified in both the 100 and 400-meter hurdles, while Westrum had great times in the 200 and 400 meters, which will be run on Sunday afternoon. The Bulldogs had eight athletes in all qualify for tomorrow's finals.

Yeager ran the second fastest 100-meter hurdle time of the day in 13.63 that was a personal best and the best time for a Drake athlete this season. She will be joined in the 100-meter hurdles by 2012 MVC Champion, senior Marissa Smith (Ajax, Ontario). She ran a time of 14.06 and grabbed the seventh qualifying position. She has held the top time in the conference for most of the season.

Senior Briana Isom-Brummer (St. Louis, Mo.) had a busy day, finishing the heptathlon and barely missing the finals in the 400-meter hurdles. She finished fifth overall in the heptathlon with 4,843 points, scoring four points for Drake. She also ran a time of 1:04.57 to finish 10th in the 400-meter hurdle qualifying heats.

Juniors Danyelle Cole (Kansas City, Kan.) and Tiara Winston (Denton, Texas) qualified in the 100 meters with the seventh and eighth best times, respectively. Cole shattered her former personal best time by .20 in the event to finish in 11.81 while Winston also topped her former best of 12.12 by running a time of 11.99.

Westrum had the top time for Drake in the 200 meters, qualifying in the fifth slot in 24.23. She also qualified in the 400 meters in 57.07.

Freshman Taylor Scholl (Prior Lake, Minn.) qualified for her first outdoor final tomorrow after claiming the final qualifying spot in the 800 meters. Her time of 2:14.32 was a personal best by two seconds.

Freshman Jaclyn Aremka (Plainfield, Ill.) finished her season with a jump of 5-3 in the high jump to place ninth. Isom-Brummer was 16th after passing the bar at 5-1.

In the team standings, Drake is tied with Bradley with six points for seventh place while Wichita State has a sizable lead with 75 points heading into the final day of competition ahead of Indiana State's 63.5 points.

Events at Drake Stadium will begin at noon Sunday with the women's triple jump on the final day of competition. The national anthem will be at 12:55 and events on the track will begin at 1 p.m. with the women's 4x100-meter relay.
