WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The Drake men's golf team turned in a 36-hole score of 630 (314-316) at the Boilermaker Invitational on Saturday (April 20) at the Kampen Course on the campus of Purdue.

“Everyone struggled today as we put up a lot of big numbers,” Drake head coach Matt Lewis commented.  “The course played extremely tough today with the conditions and we just didn't play very well.  It was a disappointing day, but hopefully tomorrow is a better effort and we're able to gain some momentum heading in the MVC Championship next week.”

Sophomore Dane Worley (Cedar Rapids, Iowa) and freshman Will McDonald (Tulsa, Okla.) lead the Bulldogs' efforts with identical 157 scorecards, good for a tie for 66th place.

DRAKE RESULTS: Dane Worley (77-80=157/T-66th), Will McDonald (80-77=157/T-66th), Matt Ohl (80-79=159/T-75th), Devin Leland (77-83=160/T-77th) and Connor Steele (86-80=166/T-85th).
