Spring Lake, Mich. - The Drake rowing team will participate in an elite-rowing event, known as the Don Lubbers Cup Regatta (Lubbers Cup) tomorrow in Spring Lake, Michigan.
"We're excited to race great competition at the Lubber's Cup this weekend," Drake head coach Charilie DiSilvestro said. "The team has been training hard since our last regattas. We've made a couple of lineup changes from our last race so we're looking forward to seeing how that effects our speed."
The Bulldogs will participate in six races on Saturday against teams from Eastern Michigan University,
Grand Valley State University, Michigan State University, Northwestern University and Ohio State University.
After this weekend the Bulldogs will host the Drake Invitational next Saturday, April 21. The MAAC Championships will be on Saturday, April 28 in Princeton, N.J.
