DES MOINES, IOWA - Drake junior pitcher Brynne Dordel (Chanhassen, Minn.) was named to the All-Tournament Team at the State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Softball Championship last weekend at Buel Field in Des Moines.

Dordel struck out 11 and allowed just one run on two hits in seven innings of work during Drake's 1-0 setback against Wichita State.

All-Tournament honors are nothing new for Dordel, who earned Most Outstanding Player laurels at the 2008 State Farm MVC Tournament en route to earning conference Newcomer of the Year accolades.
