The Bulldogs open their dual campaign this weekend hosting Northern Illinois and Memphis on Saturday (Feb. 6) and Sunday (Feb. 7), respectively.  Match times at the Roger Knapp Tennis Center are slated for 2:00 p.m. versus the Huskies and 1:00 p.m. against the Tigers.

LAST ENCOUNTER WITH NORTHERN ILLINOIS: Drake posted its eighth consecutive victory on March 4, 2007 as the Bulldogs registered a 7-0 win over Northern Illinois at the Drake Tennis Center.

Drake swept the doubles matches to secure a 1-0 advantage heading into singles play.

Sergi Vila moved up in the Bulldog line-up when illness kept Maor Zirkin out of the singles rotation. Vila responded as he posted a 6-2, 6-0 victory over Brian Livingston at the top singles position.

Dalibor Pavic continued his stellar campaign as he notched a 6-1, 6-1 triumph at No. 2 singles versus Alex Friesen.

The Bulldogs also garnered wins from Guilherme Marsiglia (Porto Alegre, Brazil), Ivan Mendoza, Bokang Setshogo and Halvar Dil at the third through six singles slots, respectively.
