DES MOINES, IOWA --  The Drake women's rowing team will resume action this Sunday (Oct. 25), competing in the Head of the Iowa Regatta along the Iowa River in Iowa City. It will mark the first time Drake has competed since opening the season in the Head of Des Moines Regatta Sept. 26.

The Bulldogs were scheduled to compete in the Quad Cities Classic Oct. 10 but the meet was canceled because of poor weather.

Participating teams in the Head of the Iowa Regatta include Augustana (Ill.), Creighton, Kansas State, Wisconsin and host Iowa. There are five races scheduled for the women's division: varstity eight, novice eight, varsity four, novice four and varsity double.
