EVANSVILLE, IND. - The Drake women's tennis team will play for three singles titles on the final day of the State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Individuals on Sunday (Oct. 11) after earning a trio of semifinal victories in second-day action on Saturday (Oct. 10).

The Bulldogs garnered spots in the title matches of the Nos. 1, 2 and 7 singles' flights, respectively.

In the top singles draw, freshman Manca Krizman (Solkan, Slovenia) downed Emily Whitney of Southern Illinois, 6-3, 6-0.

At the No. 2 position, sophomore Gabriela Demos (Chesterfield, Mo.) registered a 6-2, 6-2 decision over Julia Zubkova of Illinois State.

Rounding out the Bulldogs reaching the championship tilt of their respective flight was sophomore Earlynn Lauer (Wichita, Kan.), who defeated Leesa Cadwallader of Creighton, 6-2, 6-1.

Action concludes on Sunday (Oct. 11) beginning at 9:00 a.m.
