EVANSTON, ILL. - The Drake men's tennis team completed its run at the
Wildcat Fall Invitational on Sunday (Oct. 4) with a 3-3 combined
singles/doubles ledger.
Freshman Ryan Drake (Hilton Head Island, S.C.) captured a 6-3, 6-1
victory over Bryant Dudzik of Toledo in singles action.
In doubles play, the duo of freshman James McKie (Edinburgh, Scotland) and junior Mauricio
Ballivian (Santa
Cruz, Bolivia) defeated Matija Palinic and Douglas Perrin of DePaul, 8-2.
The tandem of senior Guilherme Marsiglia (Porto Alegre, Brazil) and Drake
recorded the Bulldogs' other doubles triumph earning an 8-5 decision against
Leonardo Henriques and Terence Weigand of Toledo.
Drake concludes its fall campaign at the ITA Central
Regional to be hosted Oct. 22-25 in Tulsa, Okla.
