2011 — Started all 11 games as core of defensive line.

• Contributed to a sack and tackle for loss in his three tackles for win versus Jacksonville.
• Had four tackles including a sack in loss at San Diego.
• Recorded two tackles including 1.5 sacks for 12-yards in losses in win at Morehead State.
• Finished with five tackles with one for loss in win versus Campbell.
• Had seven tackles including a sack, plus two pass breakups in win at Butler.
• Collected five tackles including 1.5 sacks in win versus Missouri S&T.
• Had five tackles including four solo and two for losses in win versus Grand View.
• Recorded three solo tackles in loss at North Dakota.

2010 — Played in eight games and made 10 tackles (6 solo), including one sack (-3) and two tackles for loss (-5), along with a forced fumble.

• Recorded a forced fumble and two solo tackles in win versus San Diego (10/30).
• Had three tackles with one solo versus Jacksonville (10/9).
• Contributed a sack in games versus Montana State (9/18) and Missouri S&T (9/11).

2008 — Redshirted.

Prep — Named first-team All-North Suburban League as senior at Mundelein (Ill.) High School in 2007...also earned all-area recognition by Arlington Daily Herald, Pioneer Press and News Sun...two-time captain and three-year starter who led team in tackles at defensive end as senior, including 10 for losses.

Personal — Education major...named to 2009, '10 and '11 Pioneer Football League Fall Academic Honor Roll...recipient of Drake Presidential Scholarship...son of George and Nancy Gianaras...last name pronounced "juh-NAYR-us"...born in May, 1990.
